    I was actually searching for something else and cam across this thread. You can plug your RV into 110VAC, turn OFF your batteries via the Battery disconnect, and your batteries WILL be maintained by the Inverter, which has an integrated battery maintainer AND is wired to the batteries on the BATTERY side of the Battery Disconnect. This means you CANNOT disconnect the batteries from the Inverter without physically disconnecting at the battery.

    I learned all this while troubleshooting a power issue with my 12VDC power in my RV.

    Anyhoo, just a little more info to file in your toolbelt.
